The Mulgrave Shire Historical Society was established in 1977 by a band of volunteers dedicated to preserving and displaying the history of the former Mulgrave Shire. Much of this work is undertaken at our museum, located at 60 Gordon Street in the main Gordonvale township. The museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 2pm. The museum is closed during the Christmas school holidays.
You are invited to join Mulgrave Shire Historical Society members doing important work through membership subscriptions, sponsorship, donations or volunteering.

The Mulgrave Shire Historical Society acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we stand. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
